Buffalo River Trail
The Western section of the Buffalo River Trail or BRT follows along the Buffalo National River for 36 miles from Boxley to Pruitt. The trail winds along the bluffs, gravel bars and banks that cradle the river in its ever-changing terrain. This long established trail runs through multiple locations with trailheads along the Buffalo National River including; Ponca, Steel Creek, Kyle’s Landing, Erbie Campground, Ozark, and Pruitt. This is a great trial in the fall, winter, or early spring, as these will be your best opportunities to have good views of the river valley.
