Big Piney Trail

Big Piney Trail is a 16.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Roby, Missouri that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate to difficult and is considered one of the best trails in the state. Piney Trail covers a variety of Ozark terrain in Paddy Creek Wilderness. Hiking in this area brings its own special challenges along with delights. Signs and trail markings are few, there are no bridges across the creeks, and the trail may be rough. The remoteness and lack of facilities almost guarantees solitude, and means that you must be well prepared.
